Thin Lipped Grey Mullet (Liza ramada)

is a typical mullet shaped body, with a narrow upper lip. Body grey-blue above, silvery on sides with faint grey stripes lengthwise, white ventrally.

Fairly common on west coast of France, and a summertime visitor to the English Channel and Southern Ireland, frequenting coastal waters, estuaries and ascending well into fresh water in rivers.

Migratory according to the seasons.
